Bridal Show at The Gillespie
I went to the Gillespie for a bridal show on Sunday, what a flashback! We got married there in July ...July 3, 2010 to be exact. It is such a beautiful building, my goodness. Walking in, I took a deep breath and felt like I was about to walk down the aisle again. I was hoping to go to this bridal show and find vendors that I could recommend to new clients and people that follow my blog.
I found a florist, two caterers, a rental company, photographer, centerpiece ideas, and some ideas on layouts for a big wedding. Not too bad! I was looking for vendors that provided a little something extra, had a certain flare, competitive price, provided their own linens for the tables, didn't require center pieces and were nice. Sounds like that's what all vendors should have, but you would be surprised at the amount of business who feel like they are doing YOU a favor. I think that's where people get confused. The Bride and Groom or the host/hostess of the party are the EMPLOYERS not the EMPLOYEE. You hire someone to work for you and provide a service.
I plan on going to all the bridal shows that are around here and staying in touch with what's in fashion, trends for events, current vendors that provide excellent competitive services, and meeting new people. Stay in tune! email me for more information :) Kaitlinlogsdon@att.net
